Frequently Asked Questions
Honest answers to the questions customers ask most often about insurance, mutual funds and how I work.
Still have a question? Call or WhatsApp anytime.I provide guidance and servicing for a wide range of insurance: life insurance (term, endowment, whole life, money-back, pension/annuity, ULIP and more), health insurance (individual, family, senior citizen, top-up, critical illness), general insurance (motor, travel, fire and property, personal accident, liability, rural/agricultural), and corporate or group covers such as group mediclaim.
Term insurance is pure protection — it pays a death benefit to your family if something happens to you during the policy term, and typically has a lower premium for a higher cover. Endowment, money-back and whole life plans combine protection with a savings or investment component and return a maturity benefit if you survive the term. The right choice depends on your family's needs, goals and budget — I can walk you through the differences.
Yes. Many customers hold life, health and general insurance with me. I review your protection as a whole — covering life, health and assets — so nothing overlaps unnecessarily and nothing is left unprotected.
Group mediclaim is a health insurance policy arranged for a group — typically the employees or members of an organization — providing a chosen sum assured for covered hospital expenses, as per insurer terms. Businesses, schools, societies and associations across the Godavari districts can explore group covers. Availability, premium and benefits depend on insurer underwriting and eligibility. Get in touch to discuss your organization's details.
Yes. I help with motor insurance for two-wheelers, cars and commercial vehicles, including renewals before your policy lapses. I can explain the difference between third-party-only and comprehensive cover, applicable add-ons and what to keep ready for claims.
A mutual fund pools money from many investors to invest across stocks, bonds and other assets, managed by a professional fund manager. A SIP (Systematic Investment Plan) lets you invest a fixed amount at regular intervals — weekly, monthly or quarterly — helping you build investments gradually over time. Please note: mutual fund investments are subject to market risks, and returns are not guaranteed.
Starting is simple: identify your goal and the amount you can invest, complete the KYC process, choose the fund(s) that match your goal and risk comfort, and set up the recurring investment. I help customers through each step — from KYC and fund selection to tracking their investments over time.
I send renewal reminders before your due date so you can plan ahead. Renewals can usually be completed with a premium payment through the insurer's portal, and I help with online renewals, where applicable. It's important to renew on time — a lapsed policy can affect coverage and, for some policies, benefits like continuity and waiting periods. Contact me before your renewal date and I'll guide you through it.
When a claim arises, contact me as soon as possible. I'll help you understand the documents required by the insurer or TPA, guide you through the submission process and support you until the claim is resolved. The final claim decision is always made by the insurer according to the policy terms and conditions.
Requirements vary by insurer and product, but commonly include identity proof (such as Aadhaar, PAN or passport), address proof, age proof and bank details for premium payments. Health policies may need health-related details or a medical check-up depending on age and sum assured. I'll give you a clear list for your specific case so you can submit everything in one go.
Yes. I serve customers across West Godavari, Krishna, East Godavari and nearby districts, and many enquiries are handled over phone and WhatsApp. For local customers, an in-person meeting can be arranged. Insurance products are subject to availability and eligibility in your area.
There is no consultation fee for discussing your needs and understanding your options. I believe good advice should be accessible. I'm compensated by insurers/AMCs in the normal course of business where applicable — you never pay extra for my guidance.
